The Mind Is A Weapon

“There are internal battles which each and every person faces in life
– these are unique and complicated –
they often leave us gasping for air”

My Mind

It’s a weapon of warfare
Which always keeps fighting
It keeps going
Even when the going gets tough

My Mind

It’s a weapon of warfare
Which rattles at times
And loses its grounding
It’s what happens
When I really need it to be grounded

My Mind – is a weapon of warfare – My Mind

I’ve lost all control
In my life – life is just lifing
as I breathe in a breath of fresh air
I’m numb – defeated
In each and every thing that comes my way

My Mind

I’m shaken at the core
Unbound at the shackles of life
I seem to have let go
As I face each and every thing that comes my way

My Mind

I seem to have lost my mind
As I let go of everything
And simply take life as it comes

My Mind is a powerful weapon
A weapon of warfare

Personal
This poem was written to bring an awareness to mental health.
Empowering
We seek to encourage people to look after themselves, to seek help when thet’re in need of it and to keep tabs on those who are closest to them.
WorldDriver
We’d like to recognise and applaud nations and organisation who have made strides and are continuing to do so in mental health awareness and increasing accessibility to help.
Now– Future
Let’s build our own checkpoint for mental health assessment, so that we may know for ourselves when our mental health is not what it should be. Let’s also not forget to create or find a safe place where we may be able to turn to when we are in a place of need.
